Hoping by spring to show a friend of mine that the 2.3 is a capable motor. He has a 96 stang with a blown 4.6 putting 563 To the ground. I need to be able to give him a run for his money. I need to put about 500 to the ground I would estimate. I am building a bottom end, going with bo-port stage 3 complete head( unless you guys think I can manage on the street with the stage 4) aeromotive a1000 pump with fuel cell. -10an feed lines, - 8an return. Going full e85 with lucas 120lbs injectors, Stinger header, new holset hx35, stinger down pipe to race muffler, pimp, stinger front mount intercooler, esslinger billet intermediate shaft with bronze dizzy gear, esslinger underdrive pulleys, gutted upper and ported lower knife edged intake, not afraid of a lot of boost(I imagine ill have to run 30-35 lbs?) Sce titan head gasket, arp studs all throughout. Is there anything Im missing, suggestions are welcome along with constructive criticism. I usually dont spend my money but need to shut this guy up! Lol. Thanks! ;D

You'll need more fuel than 120lb injectors can provide on E85 if you want 500 to the wheels.

I was afraid someone would say that... What would you recommend? Do I have enough pump? Is my stock fuel rail going to be able to handle this? Thanks for the insight. Never built a fast four before. How about putting a secondary fuel rail under the intake? I will do whatever it takes to make this happen

I'm not a fan of the A1000 pump in the car that will see significant time on the street, they just don't seem all that reliable under long term use. I'd be looking at a Bosch 034 pump or one of the new 350lph in tank pumps (there are a number of options).
The HX35 will be maxed out at ~500rwhp and it's more the exhaust side than the compressor so I'd make sure it's got at least a 16cm exhaust housing.
