I know I said I wouldn't do it, but the time has come for me to leave the mustang game. I'm not interested in renting a place and ready to buy a house/garage for my '03 cobra and find a dependable daily driver. With that said, I am parting out my project which has an extensive build thread in the tech forum. I simply need to get my priorities in line and unfortunately the "race car" needs to go.
I have the following I am trying to move:
-Stock block out of an 88 thunderbird, 30 over, line honed, decked, ect. -Crower sportsman rods - 275 shipped -Race engineering pistons (30 over to match), Wiseco rings - 275 shipped -Stock crank 10 under - don't know here, shipping will be terrible -Coated bearings -Holset turbo with 3'' downpipe (nice piece) - 350 shipped -Generic FMIC - 200 shipped -ARP main studs -New water pump
Stock parts: Not sure any of this is worth the time to sell, if you're local, feel free to make offer -2 intakes, one ported, one factory -Valve cover (cleaned heavy and sprayed wrinkle black) -Factory head -E6 with mild porting in the elbow and untouched ports at the head -Various other factory parts
I am looking to sell as a package and prefer not to part it out at this time. Looking for 2,400 for the whole package but open to offers if reasonable and picked up here in STL. If you are interested let me know. I can be reached via PM and will check every few days.
With regrets, Alex

I'm flexible. Make an offer if you're interested. I'd rather sell it before I have the itch to go fast and finish the car off!

Too bad you won't sell the rod and piston combo seperately thats one piece of my build I need to buy. What are those pistons capable of I know bo-port said the rods are good for 750.

I would guess it really depends on tune and rpms. I wouldn't go to 750 on them but I also wouldn't shy away from 500+. I might consider selling separately eventually but not looking to go there right now.

Willing to reduce price at this time. $1,900 for the entire combination. I will ship it if you want me to put it on a pallet and send out at your expense. Payment via paypal is acceptable.

1,600
You can't get the block, rods, pistons and bearings for this price. Let alone the accessories like the turbo, downpipe and head. Plus, the cleaning is already done for you.

Would you be willing to sell the short block and turbo? Also your location?

Im not to sure how shipping is priced on something of that sort. Would you know an area. Im very interested in this except by the looks of it im guessing i would have to buy an external wastegate, possibly new turbo oil and water lines and is the downpipe for an svo?

I am not sure about shipping, it really depends on where you're located. Send me a zip code and I can look into it. However, if you're in the midwest, meeting would save both sides cash. The turbo has an internal gate on it and propelled a turbocoupe to high 11's with few modifications on the rest of the setup. The downpipe fits in my foxbody, so I gather it would work fine for an SVO too. As for lines, it isn't water cooled, so you would need some braided lines and fittings for proper use.
