Got the engine running yesterday but something doesn't seem logical to me. When I use the "required fuel" calculator it comes up with 4.3 or 4.7 if I use 2.5 liters (it's a stroker). When I start the car it is really rich. AFR's in the 9.9-10.5 range. I started to adjust the AFR table but i was down to 15 in the cells and it hadn't dropped much at all. To stabilize the AFR I dropped the "required fuel" to 2. This obviously got it leaned out and running much better. I know required fuel isn't a tuning tool and I can't figure out why I can't get the AFR to drop when I use what Tuner Studio calculates. 85# Delphi injectors. Back to a stock head and cam for now.
I'm concerned that my cam sync isn't providing the right signal for sequential injection. Or I have a setting that's way off. Is there a test for this? My PW seems erratic too when running. I will try to start it as is today and datalog what I have. Included is my current .msq tune. Running MSII

Typically it's the injector offset settings that can greatly skew the low speed fuel/VE numbers when they aren't configured properly. FYI, the PiMP uses different injector settings than your ECU so hopefully you aren't trying to use the settings we provide for our users.

The injector settings I have now are what came with the MS. I only changed required fuel. My "dead time", offset, is set at .650. I've read several places this is the setting for 85# Delphi. Hopefully that's true.

Are you 100% sure your ecu is configured for sequential fuel, and not just COP spark? If it is, no one but scott can help you, unless you want to pop the screws out of the case and see what injector drivers are installed.

Unit does not have sequential. It's just sequential spark. My mistake, running much better now with new settings.

Good to hear you're getting it figured out...
