Hey guys I have been looking at this ecu for a while now, and while it looks to be exactly what I need, I do have some questions. My car is an 89 4 cylinder car with a 5.0 swap. Will the 4cylinder body harness with the 5.0 engine harness be an issue? Also the dash harness had previously been hacked up to accept a 91up cluster. Also do you have a particular model or brand of wideband o2 you prefer to use with this ecu? Thanks in advance for your time and help.

Is it a currently running setup or something that ran in its current iteration? If so, the wiring is fine.
We like the AEM widebands just because they "just work" and are affordable. Virtually every wideband in existence will work with the PiMP though since it just uses a 0-5v analog input.

yes the car has been together and running since late 2011, and runs great. But with a stock computer and no chip or tune I'm limited in stepping up the power/boost, and i know im leaving a lot on the table by not having tuning capabilities with my current set up. On a side note, I have read that ms based systems batch fire the injectors. Should switching from stock sefi to batch fire be any issue at all on a supercharged v8? sorry about all the questions, I am pretty new to all this tuning stuff.

The wiring is fine then. Running with a stock ecu means it will run with a PiMP.
Batch firing the injectors isn't an issue. We've got a number of v8 guys running PiMP ecu's in both n/a and boosted applications.
