I swapped a 88 TC with an la3 in my 90 ranger. On the ranger injector harness injector bank 1 is injectors 1 and 4, and on the TC injector bank1 is 1 and 2. Do I need to wire the injectors like the TC or leave the way the ranger is? Could this cause the injectors to leak?

I'm not an expert on Ranger swaps but I wouldn't think it would matter which injectors are on which injector driver. No it won't make them leak.

Alright thanks. I think I got ahold of a bad set of injectors then, because I've replaced the o-rings several times, tried another TC fuel rail and checked fuel pressure and fuel return. Is there anything else that could cause them to leak?

They sometimes leak between the body and the plastic case. There are two small (1/8") holes in the plastic body and you will see fuel leak out of there. When this happens, they are junk.
