My turbocoupe is running very rich. I've just put on a header and an external waste gate with a T3/T4 turbo. Also, the singer front mount intercooler kit with a bypass valve and 3" exhaust. I've got the 255 LPR fuel pump and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator set to 35 psi. My boost controller is set to about 15 psi which the car cannot seem to do. I'm thinking I've got an intake leak. I've triple checked every fitting and can't find one.
I've seen the question asked in other chats about pressure testing the intake system. Does anyone know the best way to do this?

How much vacuum is it running? The easy way to pressure test the system is to get a PCV "CAP" that is the same size as the intake of your turbo, then drill a hole in the middle of the the correct size for a wheel valve stem to slide into and seal. Then just clamp it into the turbo inlet and hook up a regulated air compressor to it so you can get 20psi or so into the system. It will "leak" because air will be escaping through the engine itself but if there is an external leak, you should be able to hear it/find it. You can also buy a pressure tester here (or use the picture for reference on how to build one) www.siliconeintakes.com/index.php?cPath=8&osCsid=5bc3a487a8834cf751e51b1ce0cfc2b6

The vacuum is 18 hg.
The car is running rich, won't idle after letting off the throttle and spits and sputters under boost. The codes I get are 14, 42, & 65.
I've replaced the TFI, the Stator and the distributor drive gear ( the old one had a chipped tooth) and still come up with the 14 but I don't think an erratic pip circuit would cause the car to run rich.
The 65 isn't listed in my books... I have no idea what that is.
Any suggestions on other things to check while I'm doing the pressure test? Any thoughts on the pip circuit?

What's your fuel pressure? Does it burn your eyes at idle from being rich or is it only rich under a load? Verified all plugs are firing and all plug wires are pushed on all the way?

The fuel pressure is 35 psi. All plugs are firing. I've confirmed continuity of plug wires. All wires are set in place properly. And yes it's definitely rich at an idle. There is a black streak in the road now from where the car sits to warm up in the morning.
I had accidentally pushed the boost to 35+ psi and had the cam timing slip about 8 teeth while test driving the car after installing the previously mentioned new parts. The car had no power after that and you suggested the head gasket was blown. When I removed the valve cover I found a broken valve follower. I easily replaced it but now the car runs rich. My friends think I've bent a valve but you told me it's not possible to bend a valve with a stock cam. Did you mean not possible due to piston contact?

I'd do a compression test to verify the engine itself is ok, then report back.
