i just this morning bought a 86 turbo coupe for $350 for pix see www.allfordmustangs.com/forums/2-3l-tech/176101-my-1986-thunderbird-turbo-coupe.htmli do have a few questions though i read the write up on the swap but I'm not a big wiring expert thats my brother I'm more of a plug and play guy I'm a little confused how you repine the wiring how do you know the #'s of the pin? also on the other site you can see that i have a few questions about pix if someone could help me their that would be great. Reading the write up he was talking about putting a front mount inter-cooler in i plan on doing this but how do you rotate the turbo? i have more questions but cant think of them at the moment so we will stick with these for now.

The harness that plugs into the ecu is numbered on the ends. First pin is 1, last pin in row is 20, next row is 21-40, last row is 41-60. You count from either end to get the pin numbers between there.
There are unused vacuum lines on stock cars, I don't see anything "missing".
You loosen the 6 bolts on the back of the compressor housing and turn it, then tighten them back up.

It may go nowhere...just somebody without the ability to buy a proper vacuum cap to replace a cracked stock cap.
There is no writeup for 86 ECU's into a 93 Mustang, you either compare the pinouts for both ecu's and make your own directions or you buy an 87-88 TC ecu and air meter and then follow the instructions on our site.

what is the best 87-88 ECU i would like to get a manual ECU but one of the Agressive one. LA3, LA3, 8UA, LB3...pick your poison, that's all that was available in 87-88. They will all run the same for you.

The LA3 will be the most expensive of the above ecu's simply because it is "famous" for unknown reasons. You'll save money if you find one of the other ecu's instead.
As stated above, you'll need the 87-88 air meter as well...also known as the "large vam". It has an approx. 3" inlet/outlet and the vam for the 86 TC is about 2.5".
