Hello this is my first time actually posting on here. Been into 2.3's for around 10 years now. I currently have a nice 88 tc with around 77K miles. Has the full ground effect kit and its in mint condition! I just bought a 92 vert with the 2.3 swap already done. He had a t3/t4 turbo already on it. Well 2 days after I bought the car I blew the turbo and head gasket. I had bought a 88 tc last summer and took all the performance parts off it. It had the stinger header, ar .50 turbo, external wastegate, oversized valves, bopart cam along with some other goodies. All that stuff was supposed to go on my white tc but for the time being its going in the vert
The problem I'm having it getting the turbo and return oil line to fit properly. Everything was hooked up on a previously running car but I cant remember how the line was ran. Right now I have it hooked up but it is touching the header and the turbo doesn't want to seat all the way down on the header. It is a stainless braided line. Can anyone tell me how to route the line properly? I know this may be a question that cannot be answered without seeing the pics but maybe I'm just routing it incorrect and maybe this is not the first time it has come up.
I had a problem with the sending line not reaching but I found out the previous owner had the sending unit upside down so it reached when I cranked mine down another half turn.
Also where do I do with the catch tube that goes into the valve cover. With the new setup I dont have tube to go to it. Last question it where do the 2 lines on the wastegate go? I have the bottom line going to the turbo but the top line is open.
Thanks in advanced for any and all help.
Also I live in St. Louis too!!
