Hello,
I'm in the market for a PiMP and have some questions about it. The car is a 91 GT N/A 5.0 with pile of crap done to it (mod list below). Right now I have a tweecer and have tried to tune it myself and it's close but I'm far from an expert. I got a few mail order tunes and I'm not really happy with them. I have read that the PiMP will tune it's self while you drive. One question I have is how does it determin what the best A/F ratio is, do I just say I want 13.2 at WOT or what? I have an Innovate Motorsports wide band now will that just plug into the PiMP? The goal for this car is to be 100% reliable and run an 11.99 or better. I'm thinking by the time I sell my a9l, tweecer and MAF and don't buy a fan controller the PiMP will free or close to it. Let me knwo if you need any more info about my build. Thanks for reading this and any advice you may have for me!
Other reasons for wanting this are:
Single electric fan controll. What extra parts do I need to do this, just relays and fuses?
I want to do away with my mass air meter. Mainly to sell and help offset the cost of the PiMP
I want the best possible tune.
A turbo kit is in my future.
Engine:
Stock roller block with all the machine work done and ARP main bolts
Stock rods with ARP bolts
Older 2MAE 28 oz crank converted to a 1 piece rear main
Pistons are JE 10:1

New comp 838-16 lifters
Trend pushrods
Victor Jr heads (stock)
Systemax intake (stock)
70 mm T/B
75mm MAF
36 LBS injectors
MAC LT's
Tweecer to tune with
Trans rearend:
Astro A5 with all the options, Centerforce clutch, Aluminum flywheel and driveshaft. 4:10 gears and USA alloy 28 spline axles and a stock tracklok
Rear suspension:
Baseline Street launch uppers, Baseline Streep Strip lowers, 3/4 of a coil cut off the stock springs, pinion is at 2* and Strange 10 way shocks.
Front Suspension:
Team Z K and A arms with Strange 10 way struts.
Tires and wheels:
Weld big and skinnies Hoosier QTP tires
