how would you modify a 4cly spindle to use after market sturts? or is this even possible

If I remember right, the 4 cyl spindle mount is wider than the V8 stuff which means you'd have to grind it down 1/4" or so...which sounds beyond sketchy to me.

how do you think it would last in road racing kind of abuse?
edit: o wow down to a 1/4" that is pretty thin..well would i need to use v8 spindles with v8 rotors and could i use my cailpers?

what he was saying is grind a 1/4 inch off of whats there. so when your done there will be a 3/4 inch left on spindle. calipers will not work.

how do you think it would last in road racing kind of abuse? Road Racing + stock 4 cyl brakes = Fail You'll want to upgrade to 5.0 brakes with SVO calipers or SN95 Brakes if you are roadracing, then you can stop, and use aftermarket struts.
