Hello all - Newbie here! I have a 91 Notch with a 2.3l 8spark plugs.
Just blew the head gasket and the tranny is toast (A4ld) and I want to change over to a C4. This engine is stock and does not have a Turbo. What all is necessary for this change? Car will not be raced or anything just a super reliable 2.3 with a C4. Does the drive shaft have to be modified?
Thanks all

You'll need the rare and expensive C4 2.3 bellhousing to bolt it up...
You are aware that you'll need to change the rear gears to make it not spin 4k rpm running down the highway as well correct?

I have a bellhousing for a 302 157 tooth flywheel - do I just purchase one of your adapter kits to make this work or is there more to it that that? What about driveshaft lenght? Do I have to get a custom driveshaft?

With a 5.0 flexplate with a 2.3 crank pattern that will work, I think the C4 is shorter than the A4LD which would require a different driveshaft.
