Hey what is the ideal gap for 764 autolite plugs When acheiving HIGH hp. With 18 psi, timing at 10 Is 30 better than 34? How critical is this.

It's very critical as spark blowout is common on turbocharged cars. I prefer to run .030 to .028" on all of our 2.3T's.

So whats high hp? ...at 18psi it might not make a diff at all because you're just getting into the spark blow out point. When we get plugs we just get a few boxes, gap all of them tight (.030ish) and put them away. Makes it so they are ready out of the box and you dont forgot....Especially when you make the first hard pull and it falls down.
