I am having trouble finding where the crossmember fits under my car. I am told there are two sets of brackets one for auto and one for manual but I can not find the brackets for manual. Do I have to drill holes and move the mounts ? Any help would be appreciated thanks

The mounts that actually bolt to the crossmember are moveable. The have a bolt that mounts through the side of a part of the floor pan. The problem I run into is that there is not another hole to move it to. Am I soposed to drill a hole or am I missing some thing?

the mounts you are talking about are on each side of frame/ floor pan like in picture , should be welded in from factory they should only be 4 inches or so apart and directly across from each other. as far as i know the trans crossmember is same for stick and auto. only rubber mount on trans that bolts to trans and crossmember are diff. what year is this car and is it a stang or a TC?

Unless the verts are different, the manual brackets are welded to the chassis and the auto brackets are bolted to the chassis.

I see the brackets. They are farther apart right? If you are using the same crossmember how do you attach it?

You don't use the same crossmember, you use a manual trans crossmember.
