Hi I turned my new engine over for the first time today and it would not start. I have fuel pressure, oil pressure, but just not any spark, I followed the swap wiring, just cant find out what it is, please help i need this car for the 4th of July drags.

Check and see if you've got proper voltage at the TPS and vam under the hood. I'm going to guess you don't (which indicates improper wiring changes).

I wired everything according to your swap info except one thing the spout. it says tie it into the positive coil wire and ground as well which i didn't do because i didn't fully understand. also just bought brand new coil, thats not it, could it be the tfi I heard the go out easy.

when i run a wire from the spout to the coil positive do i just splice into it( the two yellow wires) other than this I did every thing else perfectly.

I finally figured out the problem i had the distributor wired upside-down so now i have plenty of spark. but the car still doesn't start, it wants to, but doesn't, got any ideas as to what is wrong, timing,ect.

Did it start/run before the swap (the turbo engine)?
Did you have the timing belt off or the distributor out at any point?
