Ok I'm looking to do a fmic on my turbo swapped ranger I haven't come across any 4 banger mustangs or tbirds, or merkurs to measure to compare for which kit would fit best.

No kit for any of those cars will fit. Rangers are MUCH shorter firewall to radiator support than those cars. The Merkur is the shortest of those cars but it's also what has the least amount of FMIC options available.

My plan is to keep my intake in stock configuration I was figuring if I found something that had similar distance from motor to radiator support I could make it work since I've seen ranger radiators used in 2.3 turbo cars. I have no ac and I am familiar with fabrication and welding. If there was prevent tubing that got me closer then buying random bends and tubing to create a setup for my truck it would make life easier also my plan was to use the really loud blow off that you sell.

If you can fit a 29x12x3 intercooler in the nose of your Ranger, our SVO kit should be able to be modified to work. You'd need to shorten the pipes so they tuck closer to the engine pulleys at minimum.

I will see what space I have I know width wise if your kit fits in front of a ranger radiator I should be good I custom made my own front grill out of aluminum.

How far down does your kit typically your kit mount on a svo with a ranger radiator?I'm using stock orientation intake setup only cause my ranger accessory drive belt system mounts the alternator up higher then a mustang or tbird setup.

It mounts the bottom of the intercooler about even with the bottom of the radiator.

At the bottom of the radiator it would be tucked behind my bumper would this block too much air flow across the intercooler

It will still get quite a bit of airflow (Mustangs and TC's have very little grill area compared to a Ranger) and if you're modifying the tubing anyway, you can certainly move it up higher if you prefer and modify the tubing to match the IC location change.

True I just wanna be sure I have extra tubing as opposed to too short and not be able to cut it Down to where I need it

Well, anything you cut out in one place can be used in another location to lengthen (via welding or additional couplers/clamps). We could even send a couple of straight cutoffs if you thin you'll need more material to use.

If I order the fmic kit and bov will you put the bov flange in the piping? I see I can run 15 psi boost on my stock top mount but I haven't vented my hood yet.

If you select the $10 BOV bung option, yes.
