Would a Walbro 255 LPH inline fuel pump work for my SVO? I'm not really sure where to start with a fuel system, but I know that a better than stock pump and larger injectors are needed. What would I need to make this work if it is a good choice?
Plans for the car would be well above 300whp and daily drivability... Thanks for the info!

I prefer to swap to the in-tank setup from the 87-93 Mustangs and then use an in-tank 255 pump but the inline pump will work as well.

Would there be a problem with the inline like getting hot if I sit still for a while? What would be the biggest drawback to the inline pump? I can buy one for under $100 and if it will work well without major issues or concerns I'd like to do that.

The pumps are cooled by the fuel, not air. As long as the factory lift pump (in the tank) is good then there is no real performance benefit from either version of the 255 pump compared to the other. I just like upgrading to the newer setup because it eliminates the lift pump and you gain some room for a passenger side muffler if you choose to go that route.
The inline and intank pumps are roughly the same price. Make sure you get the high pressure version of the pump though, not the regular 255lph pump.

So I could just head to the junkyard and find a wrecked 87-93 and yank out all the parts from the tank to transfer into my car? Or should I look for a reman'd or new production parts?

Either way works, you just need the pump hanger that goes in the tank.
