I searched the old forums and didn't find an exact answer. Some say a .5 in flange with work with longer hardware. Others say it takes 1 inch. Hell I even found some saying to cut the header and weld the flange on at an angle. So what did you do? I'm looking for those who have bolted an HX35W on their stinger style header in a mustang. I have a stinger style made by Marc Bean, but I'm running into the same issues others have with the compressor hitting #1 primary tube and rubbing on the valve cover. clocking the compressor doesn't look like it will help any without having it pointed in an absurd angle (pointed at valve cover) it's currently pointed at the 10 o'clock position to keep everything under the stock hood. Thanks in advance. plus.google.com/117859714320447325782/posts/NmFMjLDQgah

1/2" (minimum) spacer, rotate the housing so the outlet is more towards the passenger side so it gets smaller near the valve cover and clears it. You can test out the thickness of the spacer ahead of time by simply finding something 1/2" thick and sliding it between the turbo and header.
