I took my car to the dyno tonight. Here is the setup. Stock 2.3 shortblock, stock head, ranger roller cam, E6, Holset hy35, custom upper with 75mm throttle body. 255 fuel pump, 14deg. base timing, 45psi fuel pressure, and 20psi boost.
The peak hp was 240 at around 4700rpm and 318ft/lbs at around 3600rpm. The air fuel stayed around 12.3 and 12.8

Not too bad...a little porting and a performance cam and it would be an animal.

I run a Boport cam, the "best" would depend on which description best fits your needs.

I like the decription of the 1.5 version. I think i will try it. The RPM range sounds about right since my turbo doesnt really start spooling until about 3k.

Sounds like a plan. I'm running a stg3 but I'm also trying to make 415+rwhp on pump gas.

yeah im going for 300rwhp, and im only 60 horsepower away from my goal, so i shouldnt have to make too many changes. I could always put a 75 shot on there if i wanted.

Shouldn't be too hard...cam should be good for 30hp or so...what intercooler and exhaust?

That should do...make sure the head is sealing up, they rarely do in stock (used) form.

I like this combination. Where are you getting the holeset turbo from? Does it bolt on to the t-3 exh. flange? I'm thinking this maybe a better set-up for my bracket car.

the holset is a hy35w from a late model Dodge truck. The exhaust flanges are no tthe same, i have seen the flanges on ebay. I made my own from a scrap piece of thick flat steel.
