As my title suggests, i am a complete noob. I feel completely embarrassed to be asking this question but: does the 2.3 crank have a specific pattern to the way the bolts line up when putting the flywheel on?
If so, I will share with you my embarrassment. If not, I have got a small problem with the SBF flywheel i purchased.
TIA for your input.

Yes, they aren't all perfectly spaced. You have to rotate it until all the holes line up, otherwise only some of them line up.

Thanks! Now i feel like a total and complete idiot.................Let me give the surrounding elements to this idiotic move.....Ready? I just moved to Virginia in May and left everything in Florida. Notification of my move occurred a week before I had to be to my new job position, so i pretty much just packed my clothes and left everything with my friends and family. My company, however, granted me a week in July to go back to FL and move everything else.
So, to sum it up, a weeks time is not nearly enough time for me to pack every one of my belongings AND successfully complete a rebuild on my 2.3T WITHOUT making a STUPID mistake like I chose to do in the middle of my 3rd all-nighter trying to get this thing bundled up and installed in my car so that I could trailer it up to VA.
Without leading you on any more and postponing my embarrassment and self-regret I will tell you that I chose to "fix" the two holes that didn't line up. I mean aluminum is real easy to drill with a step-bit, isn't it??
YES, YOU READ CORRECTLY, LIKE A RETARD WORKING ON MINIMAL SLEEP, I DRILLED OUT THE TWO HOLES THAT "DIDN'T EXACTLY LINE UP"............SO, i guess the next question i should ask y'all is: will the minimal drilling i did to make the bolts fit throw the balance of the flywheel off or is it going to pose a major problem with the operation on the engine?
Please tell me everything is going to be alright, or i might just have to either shoot myself or go hizzor myself out to make another $350 to buy another flywheel for my project.
Thanks for all of your help thus far

I can't publicly advocate running that flywheel, it could be very dangerous...
Sending PM...
