im looking a set of bnib cp pistons and crower rods. im looking to know if their gonna be good for my build. i currently have an 86 svo with boport stage 3 alum dport with stage 2.5 cam. stage 3 ported intakes. im looking to build a bottom end that i can make some power with. they were bought from this site, rod part number is sp93231pf4 and the pistons have no part number. description on invoice says chamber design: stock iron head .030. im looking to find if these parts are going to work for me? thanks

Well, you don't have an iron head/chamber design, I don't know how much your block needs to be overbored to clean up, and I dint know what those rods are with the info provided. Best pistons would be ones with the Esslinger dish that matches your head, though the iron head shaped dish will work.

Ok. Fair enough. The motor that I would be using has very clean bores no major damage that would require anything more then .030. I was able to find the specs on the rods. Thanks Shannon
