How much power would be gained by swapping a ranger roller for a motorsports a237 cam? This would be a stock shortblock with ported head, holset wh1c, 3" mandrel exhaust, holley 350 with EV carb hat, ported EFI lower. Also what HP would be gained by swapping to a large valve head and a boport stage 3 cam? Thanks.

On a 400whp car we saw the A237 worth about 15 at the wheels over a ranger roller. Our relatively "mild" 1.5 roller was worth 33 whp over the A237. Our baby 1.1 made 15whp over the 237.
Typically stage 3 porting itself is worth 60-75 at the wheels not including cam based off our own and customer dyno feedback. It is very typical to see 100-150whp with a stage 3 head/cam swap over a stock head/cam if you have the supporting fuel, turbo and tuning to compliment the additional airflow from the new head. We have also seen 75-100whp gains by reworking home ported big valve heads and changing cams. Keep in mind though you will need the supporting mods for the new airflow or you aren't going to see these kinds of gains. Good high flowing intercooler and header like Stinger's are going to be a must along with intake, exhaust and fuel work.
