Siemens injectors are ball/seat design with 6 hole diffuser disc which gives quick response time and very efficient operation at high duty cycles which make them great for high horsepower street/strip applications. Rated @ 43.5PSI Fuel Pressure. The ECM dictates if you must run low or high impedance injectors. Stock 2.3 Turbos require low Impedance.

Is there any benefit or harm in running an "oversized" injector? I don't really need an injector this big, but want to have that kind of power in the future.

Not really, as long as you have a way to control them...like a chip/tuner for the stock ecu or an aftermarket ecu.
