okay i am on TF alot and have had a hard time finding a definitive answer. i am building a 2.3t from an 88turbo coupe to put in a 88 notch. the turbo coupe was originally an auto and the mustang has a T5 (4cyl) can i use the flywheel and clutch from the N/A car on the turbo motor?

no not really, I tried using a brand new NA clutch on my car and it ripped it to shreds within 24hrs and that was driving easy. so if you want to save yourself a headache use all turbo stuff.

While you "can" use it (meaning it will bolt on), as stated, they are not typically large enough to hold under boost.

Yes...and a flywheel from autozone is really pretty reasonable. Stock replacement turbo clutch is pretty cheap as well.

oh... i guess i never figured they would still carry that stuff. (the flywheel) figured i would have to go aftermarket. can i at least get away with runnign the stock 4 cyl. 5 speed? it is an 88 so that would make it a WC correct? and will the bell housing work?

Trans and bell is fine, same as the turbo stuff except slightly different gear ratios.
