Went to my local drag strip on saturday august 1st.I wasn't expecting much with damp weater but went anyway. I was surprised to see my bone stock 87 automatic turbo coupe going 14.89 at 88mph and 1.97 60ft. To tell you the thruth people were making fun of me went i pulled in line to race, but hey who cares. The only thing i was frustrated about was the mph at the end. Anything cheap i can do to make those mph up a bit? Ho ya forgot to tell you i had my Hoosier one.

The MPH is about right for a stocker...3" exhaust will get you 35+hp and another 3psi will gain another 15hp or so. K&N cone filter is also worth 12-15hp...That's a gain of 65+hp at the wheels which should get you in the high 90's.

Ok went again last Saturday August 8th. Used 94 octane and removed tube between breather and turbo (got a plug on the turbo). Best pass was 14.58 at 91mph with 1.94 60ft. Next week-end i'm trying Militec-1 synthetic additive and vam meter modifications and skinnies on the front. Just a quick question;how many tooth do i have to rotate in the vam?

I don't do vam mods. Furthermore, your results will vary...it's a "adjust and test" method.
