I swapped my drum 7.5" rear for an 8.8" turbo coupe rear with discs from a 1998 stang and was wondering which master cylinder to use to get the correct pressure to the rear discs now? The car is a 1992.

There was a site that had all of this listed but it seems like the link is down and I can't find an alternative. Basically, the master cylinder decides how much pedal pressure you have and the proportioning valve decides how much pressure is going to the front/rear brakes. You can gut the rear portion of the stock prop valve and install an adjustable valve in the rear brake line so you can adjust the rear brake bias to your preferences. If the brake pedal is too hard, you'll need to get a master cylinder with a larger bore (shouldn't be an issue though).

Thanks stinger, the brake pedal feels great it just does not put enough pressure to the rears. I will try the prop valve. Do you know where it is located?
