I'm sorry to be a bother, Shannon, but I am having clearance issues from the muffler back over the axle with the single 3" system you sent me for my 86 SVO. The arch pipe has less than 1/2" to the frame on the outside and 1/4" to the upper control arm on the inside. This gives me less than 1/2" to the gas tank lip that is turned down. Is the pipe supposed to go inside or outside the tank turndown flange? Are there any threads with pics showing how it should look on an SVO? I don't seem to be able to get clearance, and keep the tailpipe somewhat level as it exits. Is it normal to have to cut any of the two pipes from the muffler back? What is the normal ground clearance at the lowest bend in the tailpipe? Right now, the best I can get is about 4". I will try to post some pics as soon as I can.
edit: I should add that the car had lowering springs installed before I bought it. Are they causing my problems?

A 3" tailpipe in a foxbody is certainly a very tight fit, especially with factory control arms. This picture from the site listing shows how it fits an SVO: You will have to trim both ends of the pipe, the tip at the bumper and the section that goes into the muffler. You don't trim where the two pieces of the tailpipe go together. If you post pics of what you've got I'll tell you what's up.

It was the gas tank flange causing the problems after all, Shannon! Once I bent it out of the way, the pipes fit. I could not get the tailpipe as high as your pic, though... I ended up with about 4" ground clearance. If I add the lowered springs, it would be 5", right?

Are you talking about clearance where it dips below the fuel tank or somewhere out near the tip or muffler?

Where it dips under the tank. That is also where I had an issue with the tank flange.

That sounds about right. Fortunately when it dips low at that location, it doesn't effect clearance over speed bumps and such since the tires will always be lower than the pipe in that location.
