I've installed a bellhousing adaptor modeled after Stinger's, however I don't have the turbo set up on the engine. That means that the stock 93 header is blowing straight onto the plate!
I see cheap long tube eBay headers that I can run until the turbo stuff is in, but do any clear the plate?
I need to fix this before I have a permanent migraine from the exhaust lol

No first hand experience with any N/A engine with an adapter plate but I doubt any of the off-the-shelf options will clear it.

That's too bad. If I need a custom header I may as well run a turbo header until I have the turbo on. Does anybody still make stainless pieces for us?

There are custom 2.3 turbo headers listed on eBay by a few different suppliers, there are also the cheap Chinese ones.

I'm looking for a good 321 piece, or even an unfinished inconel piece since I can pay my coworker to weld it up. I'd imagine inconel can be almost affordable if shortened near what a log is? It should be strong enough for that.
Regardless, what is your opinion on proper headers and where to find them?

Nobody offers an "unwelded" header or manifold for these engines. The ones offering custom headers on eBay are 304 I believe but I'm sure they would be willing to do 321 for the higher price of the materials. Nobody offers inconel for these engines but if you're doing a log there is nothing specific to this engine but the flange.
Proper header will always make more power than a log unless there is something else holding back the setup.

I'm not totally comfortable with any random eBay headers.
As for inconel, I mean a tubular header with very short tubes, minimal turns. Custom of course.
Are eBay sellers really the only option now? I may as well find a more local "pro" exhaust shop.

The eBay sellers that I'm referring to are not random, they are members of the community that don't have sites so they sell them on eBay and through Facebook pages and such. I can refer you to one via email if you would prefer. His run about $550.
