Thanks. How would I go about using the factory oil pressure sending unit if I decide to do that? I have no idea how the single wire sending units work.

I don't know how the stock sender works or how to make it work with the gauge.
I'd actually suggest contacting the gauge manufacturer about using stock sensors but I'd suspect the only thing you'd need is to know the transfer function for that particular sender, then it's just a matter of entering that data into the configurator.

From reading over at msextra, it sounds like the 5v pressure transducer is the way to go. I'll try calling the gauge manufacturer tomorrow.
