Hi,
If you look at the datalog, I have some spike in the 5k rpm and higher. What should I look for ? The spike was bigger when I had RPM and MAP with lag factor to 90. Now, they are at 60.
Heres a composite and tooth log but dont know what should I look for? I tought I should see square wave but its not?
Thanks
Martin

I wouldn't cause that "noisy" at all. MAP trace looks completely normal. Only thing "odd" to me is RPM is osscillating slighty up and down, almost as if it was near some mechanical limit. Situationally, what was going on in that log? What application? What transmission?

91 Mustang 5,0 with Astro T5 transmission. TFI distributor.
I was wondering how RPM log could be "jumping" while reviewing logs. When lag factors was at 90, if I recall good because logs are at home, could get 6000rpm and next frame would be 6500 and next frame after 5800, something like that.
I could post you log when lag factor was at 90. Samething for MAP with seems "better" since 50 lag factor.
