I am wondering on the vacuum canister in the fender well. Does the car really need it? One day I was driving along and punched the gas and boom goes the vacuum cannister.(lol) I plugged the tree up and drove on home. Now I am wondering on it.

I an wondering because it did not seem to affect the brakes. I not sure if it will work against me on boost/vacuum?

It's a cruise control item if I remember right. Doesn't do anything for the brakes or how the engine runs.
