Hi, I am having problems with my Distributor again. I replaced it with a new replacement part from Orielly's about 6 Months ago. Now it back to the same, It will start Fine and will run decent till it warms up the it start jerking some like the sparks cutting off. And after it get's up to temp it doesn't want to start I have to crank it about 4-5 times to get it to fire again. I know it Heat kills them and I probable hurt it to. lol... On an other note I can hear the Dist. making a clicking noise, When I put the key forward any Ideas?

Clicking in the forward position just means the engine is lined up to spark. You may need to replace the TFI, PIP, or distributor again.

I just ordered a replacement for the Dist. I have a tfi laying around that I'll try tommorow. What I would like to know is a Napa replacement better? Or can I put better part's in the Dist?

I'd run a factory stock one before a "parts store" unit.

well I am going to have to go with the replacement for now. I turned in my original for a core. I'll look for another one to rebuilt. Thanks,
