hi im new to the 2.3 i just picked up a very good clean 1990 notch has a blown head gasket. so im gonna dig into the motor and fix whatever else is wrong with it. so here is my question. would someone help me out in like listing a list of parts of what i need to put a turbo on this lil car just to make it funner. its a 5 spd.i dont wanna go all drag race right now just maybe here and there for fun.

You can do a search to find tons of info about what you are wanting to do, the pros and cons of different ways of doing it, what wiring changes are required, donor cars, etc.

The cheapest way to turbo that car is to find a '87-'88 Thunderbird with a good running engine and swap that into your car. Stinger has some excellent info on the swap in his tech how to section and this guy has some great info under his how to section: www.flemworld.com/I used both sites to swap a turbo coupe engine/trans into a '88 Hatchback. Consider yourself lucky you already have the five speed because I did the auto to five speed conversion and then is harder then dropping in a turbo engine by a long stretch. oneowner88lx is right buy a donor car take the motor out or... i just seen a 2.3turbo motor for sale on this website and you could get one from ebay or a junk yard and have it rebuilt...depends on the time and money you want to invest
