New personal record with the bone stock automatic tc at Napierville Dragway. 14.21 at 94 with 1.91 60ft. The problem is that it was done with a bog.On my way back home i hammer it down and the check engine went on and the car started to bog badly, but was ok after 2 second. I'm thinking maybe the tps. It never did it before.

Wow, that's moving for a stock auto TC. Scan for codes, whatever threw the CE light should show up.

This forum has a neat little feature for youtube videos. Just click the little button that says "tube" and copy/paste the video address between the brackets and it shows up like this:

Found the problem it was the tps. I don't know if i'll be able to go back to the track but will try. How far do you think i can go with the stock cam?

There is no "limit" where the stock cam can't exceed it...the gains to be found by a better cam just increase as the power goes up. Our bolt-on car went low 11's without ever taking the valve cover off. It also gained over 115rwhp with porting and a cam.

Lots of peoples use ranger roller cams, but other than friction i dont see the point and the reason why it would perform alot better. I've seen lots of different cams but haven't made a choice yet. Please advise with what you would do. This is a daily driver but also a track car.As soon as it snow,i will take off the head for a major porting job.

Cam depends on your goals and if it will continue to be a daily driver. I'd look at the cams from bo-port.com as they will outperform any other cams available.

Do you know what is approximately the highest rpm that the bottom end is capable to reach (stock bottom)? This would help in choosing a good cam. I defenetly am gonna be at the race track often (live 10minutes from the track). I will do the whole porting job on this engine and was thinking of boport 1.9 cam, what do you think. Also in process of purchasing meth kit.

I wouldn't have any issues with spinning the bottom end 7000-7300 if the cam/head can make power that high. My SVO is set up to do the same with a stock bottom end.
