All of these issues would seem to indicate a major wiring issue, particularly one with the signal return wires (ground) for the sensors and/or the vam wires. ohh.. great..

Not a big deal, just need to use a voltmeter to verify the grounds are grounded, 5v reference wires are 5v, both are in correct locations, vat is in correct location, etc.

its in an 89 notch lx, LA3 ecu
i did some poking around, and heres what i found. all are key on, engine off
TPS harness: black wire to green wire= .94v black wire to orange wire= 5.12v
VAM harness: (i assumed black with white was ground)
ground to orange/white= 5.09v ground to green/purple= .28v ground to gray/black= .25v

well i played around with it, and figured it out! it ended up being a wire i thought you had to cut, and when i spliced the half i cut off wiht the wire to the vam, it runs great off boost! even idles when its cold now. the only thing is now i gotta check codes cause instead of a random check engine light, its always on now. no biggie

yellow/green wire
oh and thanks for the wiring diagrams and stuff. i tested all the connectors at the computer like it said, and they all checked out. then i found that wire problem. it was actually a "just for fun, lets hook this wire back up" and poof. mint.

had a minor boost controller issue, and it seems these motors dont like a spike over 25psi (where my guage stops) i think it ran out of fuel that high.. oops

I don't know of any engine that likes spikes anywhere near 25psi when they don't have enough injector to support it

how many psi can these injectors keep up with?
it felt like it went into a limp mode, i had to shut it off and restart it twice

PSI has nothing to do with it as that will vary greatly depending on mods, condition of of fuel system, etc. Generally they can support about 230rwhp at stock fuel pressure and about 300rwhp with 55psi base pressure or so.

im running 15psi boost with about 35psi fuel, seems to like that best. gonna dyno it soon, get an a/f reading so i know where i stand on that.
