Hi. Great to be here. I told Shannon I would join to ask additional questions about the exhaust systems, so here goes: I asked about the proper application for a single driver's side exit exhaust system for an 1984 SVO. I was recommended the 3" downtube, downpipe to muffler, muffler and single exhaust pipe. Got that. Do I have to worry about the 3" downpipe connecting to the turbo itself" I saw further down the page while looking for the exhaust clamps the 3" elbow for the turbo to replace the 2"and change one. Do I need this?

The regular 3" downpipe you would order bolts right to the factory T3 or IHI turbo down elbow (which also contains the o2 sensor). I don't normally suggest the 3" elbow for people unless they also have a hybrid turbo and are over 300hp.
