threaded clutch cable problem!!!

hi all!! i finally got my car done and running now here my problem!
i did a 5speed swap and the clutch and clutch cable are after market. the linkage the cable attaches to doesnt work because its too long and threaded. SOOOooo.... anyone have pictures or helpful works to tell/show me what you guys all do. im a welder so fabricating something is no problem.

Sounds like you've got a 5.0 cable and you need a 2.3 cable.
