Alright guys, I am almost ready to close the SVO up and get her on the road. I have got my 5.0 flywheel, clutch, and bellhousing in place. I will be putting the transmission and everything else in tomorrow night after work. BTW....ITS COLD OUTSIDE.....definitely not the types of December that we would have in Florida. I LOVE IT!!
Any way, I have run into a bit of a bump. I can't seem to figure out how my 5.0 starter is supposed to hook up to the starter relay. I have got 3 posts on what i think is my starter solenoid, which is attached to the starter. One of the posts has a bare braided wire which goes right into the starter housing. The other post looks like where I would attach the positive lead from the relay, and the third post is smaller than the other two and i have no idea what is supposed to to be run to it. Am I going to have to get a different starter relay or will the stock SVO one work for me? Can you guys give me some insight as to how it is supposed to be wired?
Thanks for your help.

you run a jumper wire to the small stud from the top stud. the top stud is where the battery cable goes from the fender mounted starter solinoid. the litttle stud engages the solinoid on the starter.

Merc,
Thanks for your reply. If it stops raining, I will be hooking that up tonight.
I wil have to say though, I have no room to complain/comment on the cold weather here in VA. It has got to be somewhere 20's at night up there in B.C., I count myself lucky.
Thanks again for the help.
