I’m having a severe issue I bought a 87 mustang off a guy a few years ago I put a new aux shaft in timed the motor and the car ran great for about 6 months it has the 2.3t out of a turbo Coupe well one day I was driving the car I pulled into the shop and turned the car off I came back out 4 hrs later and the car wouldn’t start well I have fooled and fooled with the car now trying to figure it out and I’m baffled I can not figure out what has happened I have traced grounds they all seem to be fine I have replaced the distributor twice new from advance with modules a new coil a new tps new iac I have swapped 2 different computers into the car I’m 200% confused on what is going on I’m not getting spark and the injectors are not pulsing i don’t know where to go from here I was told there is a crank sensor behind the balancer on the crank the guy said that was most likely the issue I do not have a timing belt cover and I can’t see a cps anywhere down there has anybody had any issues like this before I’m looking for any help or info I can get and I scanned for codes it’s not throwing any

It's only throwing the "all good" code 11 or it won't output codes at all?
There is no crank sensor on engines with a distributor.
Pull the spout connector and see if spark returns.

It’s throwing the 11 code all good and I pulled the spout connector apart and it still won’t do anything I’m completely stumped on why it will not pulsate or get spark

Pulling the spout removes the ECU from the spark equation so that's eliminated as an issue. You say you've replaced multiple distributors so you'd assume that's not the problem. Almost has to be wiring.

Ok so I forgot my stuff to log back into here so I made a new one I finally found out what my problem was the 6 wire plug that connected to the distributor had went bad never would have guessed that I bought one for the heck of it and cut and spliced wires and the car started running so needless to say I’m tickled pink over this now I am wanting to try to make the car make 300 hp at the rear wheels I just want a really fun weekend warrior to play with but also be able to just jump in it and ride around also so I was wondering if there was anything on here to get a good ideal on how to reach that number and how to figure out what kind of price range I would be looking at the swap came out of an 88 tc and the only thing I know to be aftermarket is the FMIC it has the ihi turbo and brown top injectors

The FAQ does a pretty good job of outlining the basics for mods for different power levels: www.stinger-performance.com/faq.htmlYou're probably looking at a grand or a bit less for 250hp, 2500ish for 300-325.
