This is for those running the 60mm Super Coupe/94-95 5.0 Throttle Body on a 2.3 engine.
The problem with the factory TPS for this throttle body is that it hits the EGR mounting tab on the upper intake. Those who don't want to cut off the EGR and weld the hole shut, this is the solution:
The only one I've found that points up and has proper tab orientation is this one:
Application: 1990 Ford Tempo 2.3

Correct, you need the newer style plug...91+ Mustangs already have the newer plug.
Slotting the holes in the throttle body so it bolts to the intake gets rid of the need for an adapter plate.

what i ment is adapter plate on tps i had to make to run my stock one on my t/b. so this is a direct bolt on.

Oh, it eliminates that too...just bolt it on and grab the newer style plug and wire it in.

4.75 wide open is typical. If it won't go low enough at idle and you've already loosened the bolts and rotated it to use the slack in the bolt holes to your advantage, the next step would be to slot the mounting holes to get more movement out of it.
This is all assuming your throttle blade is all the way shut. I've seen some of those throttle bodies have the stop screw adjusted too far open and it holds the blade open a bit which would also make the TPS read too high.

So if I read this correctly, If I have removed the egr and welded it shut, I will be able to just plug into the 5 oh TB without changing the conector?

From what I see on the connectors you should be able to do that.
