Starting to gather parts for my front mount IC install. I currently have a stock set up with your Bybass Valve (single piston recirculator). Can I run this on the front mount piping by using the silicone coupler you sell and dump into the atmosphere? Or do I need to purchase one of your blow off valves listed? As I read the description of both blow off valves it looks like I can use either. So the difference is? Looks like l need to weld in a bung for one and the other I can use the coupler you sell. Just wonder the best option for my set up. Both are priced the same so not sure how to decide.
Running the pimp XS
Thanks

With a PiMPxs there is no restriction for which valve is required from an ECU standpoint.
From a functional standpoint, dumping a bypass valve to atmosphere (with our ECU) is fine, except that it will likely be open at idle, allowing some unfiltered air into the engine. That valve doesn't have adjustable preload since it being open at idle isn't a concern when it's used the way it's designed (recirculated). If you don't want to recirculate your bypass, and don't want to let unfiltered air in, then get one of the other valves. As you stated, dual piston uses the same connection as the bypass (1" hose), RFL is a weld-on bung with o-ring seal.

The BPV-1(I think thats the pn#)comes with 2 extra springs. What are the spring rates of all 3? I'm pulling 10 in. of vacuum at idle.

BPV-1 is supposed to recirculate so the spring only changes how "easy" it releases when the throttle closes. Idle vacuum doesn't really matter since it can't "leak" at idle when it's recirculating.

I have one. Using the Boport stg 3 head and 2.9X. I was asking about the spring rates of the springs that came with it. the one that was in it seems fine, but if I look at recommended spring charts, they call for a 6# spring. Do you know the rates of all 3 that come with the BPV-1?

I don't have any spring rate info. If you're happy with how it works then don't overthink it.
