From what I've read, I should have no issues running the Pimp XS with my Ron Francis Telorvek MG-70 harness, but I wanted to ask here first.. My current setup:
1992 Ford 5.0 running via the MG-70 and a factory Ford A9L. I've relocated the TFI by making my own connector (to plug in to the Ron Francis TFI connector) out of an old TFI module, and a piece of donor harness from a 92 Thunderbird, and that let me switch to a sealed SN95 style distributor. It operates exactly like a stock harness/TFI would, only no heat soak.I have yet to decide on injector sizes, etc, but do already own a 93 Cobra MAF if that would help my quest to get this thing running well after my AFR head swap. The truck will be n/a with stock HO cam, AFR #1399 heads, SN95 style Cobra upper & lower intake.. T5Z manual trans... Should I have any concerns, or does anyone here have any suggestions for me on injectors, MAF model or no MAF, etc? Any harness wiring I should be concerned with? GB

No need for a MAF at all.
The MG-70 will work fine, though you can use the Speed Density version as well.
An injector in the high 20's to mid 30 lb/hr range should be plenty.

Thank you for the speedy reply! WOW! Is there a particular wideband system you recommend? I'm looking at the Zeitronix ZT-4 system. I like the idea of running the dual wideband for easy diagnostic purposes on both cylinder banks. www.zeitronix.com/Products/Zt-4/Zt-4.shtmlGB

We sell the widebands we've had the best experience with but you can run any wideband you prefer.

One last question for now. Is there any advantage when using the PimpXS in using a wideband with CANBUS capabilities vs just an analog wideband?

It's a more direct signal and is unaffected by ground loops so the signal is more accurate.

Can I pull the needed 12v (for the red fused wire on the Spartan 2 wideband sensor) from the Ron Francis Telorvek harness where I'll be unplugging the stock O2 sensors? I need to go through the wires in that O2 harness to see what does what, and what the PimpXS needs or uses on those pins.
I'm thinking I should be able to cut the connector off of the factory style O2 sensors and create my own harness to power up the widebands.
I apologize in advance for all of these stupid questions. I'm sure it's all answered in the user guide, but I'm just trying to decide on what wideband system/s to go with before I start my install. I've already purchased the Pimpxs.

That's exactly how the PiMPxs startup guide says to do the wideband wiring (all required wires are in the stock 02 connectors, cut the pigtail off the stock o2 sensor). Harness wires have their function printed on them the length of the wire.
