97 obs 460ci manual trans 4x4?

I have a pimp x on my turbo coup and I am very happy with it. I also have a 1997 f250 obs with a 460ci, manual trans, 4x4. I have a feeling my factory ECM is failing, Will a pimp x or sx work with the fuel injection on the 7.5l? I mostly use it to tow my car or hauling. Would I gain any drive quality or fuel mileage? I am looking at the pimp ECM because I'm also planning on adding banks headers, exhaust, and upper intake to it in the near future. The engine appears to only have a map sensor on it from factory. I will be happy to add a wideband O2. Thank you.

You'll need to look at the label on the ECU connector. If it says EEC-IV then it's compatible. If it says EEC-V then it's not compatible.
