hey guys im new to this board my names kyle.. i dont have any good pics of my car yet (needs a bath bad.. stupid green pollen). any way its a 89 lx vert 2.3t out of an 87 tc 5spd. la2 big vam e6. i am purchasing a volvo intercooler from a member on another board with a bosch bpv and he turned me on to stingers products .. /recomended the kit fmic kit for the said intercooler. no ac .. 5.0 rad any fitmeant issues? any thought on performance gains or what i should run as far a e.t? all the research ive done says 13.90 ish stock 7.5 btw needs 3.73 8.8 i think.. kinda new to the 2.3t game only had my stang for about a month. thanks for any input.KYLE. edit.. thought id add that im currently set at 15lbs boost. knock sensors unplugged . new bearings rings and seals..heads untouched. could probly be freshenup up.. but one thing at a time. fmic and get rid of the stock lx tailpipe and hopefully i feel a big difference

You can't use a stock radiator with the volvo IC.
The Volvo IC isn't all that efficient but it flows pretty well. HP gain depends on your tune, current ic (or lack of), etc.
No way it will run anywhere near 13.90 at 15psi with those mods unless it's in a 2000lb car. Stock SVO's (which ran 15psi also) ran low 15's to high 14's with a great driver and you don't really have anything above what a stock SVO has as far as mods.

ok thanks.. that number came from a faq section tf im sure your familar with.. now thats not at stock boost but ill be changing things up once i get it intercooled.. ive searched but with no luck as to why the volvo intercooler kit doesnt fit. any advice is much appreciated.

The stock radiator is wider than the Volvo IC. With the inlet/outlet of the IC pointing to the rear and the IC in front of the radiator, the inlet/outlet points directly into the radiator.
