I spent the last 20minutes searching this forum. I'm at the end of my novi 2000 408w build and thinking about going Pimpxshift with COP/CAS. Two things.. 1. I'm struggling to understand how to use the electronic boost control on the centri supercharger. Sounds like i need to install a wastegate in addition to my blowoff valve? 2. The truck has two tanks. I plan to use one for e85. I cant find a clear answer on how to switch "tunes" or calibration or if it's best to just run the flex fuel sensor?

Centri SC controls boost level with belt size/shaft speed. Not boost controller used.
There is a table switch feature for things like this (can use a toggle switch), though this is best done with E85 purchased in bulk in drums as pump E85 ethanol % varies enough station to station and season to season that it will make the tune inconsistent (unless you've got a flex fuel sensor).

perfect thank you. the boost control question was really intended to be more of a launch control if you will. I want a way to cut boost/power off the line and ramp up after 1st gear. Maybe there's another way i can accomplish that with your kit.

The ECU has traction control capabilities that can control acceleration rate.
The ECU can rev-limit at launch and it won't make much/any boost at low RPM.
The ECU doesn't have any control over boost pressure with a supercharger (only turbo boost can be ECU controlled).

You can still run a wastegate on a Centrifugal blower, its been done by a lot of people. Its main purpose was to pulley the blower at max impeller speed and then use the wastegate to hit a target boost. That way you have tons of low end boost similar to a twin screw or roots blower. You could still use the ECU to control an electronic wastegate with a centrifugal blower if you wanted to.

Yes, you can, but not with his "traditional' SC combo that doesn't have a wastegate on the pressure pipe.
