Stinger, when you guys used to sell the 2.3 to small block adapter plate, did you have by chance a schematic or program or something to make that? Iv got the factory 84 trans, and although it might hold roughly 400 for a short time, i would like to look into getting a tko setup just in case. Can get my hands on tko500 bolted to a Cleveland fairly cheap. Drive shaft as well. I would have to change the bell of course. I work at a machine shop so making it wont be a problem. Any help would be pretty cool!

Dang.. Looks like il be finding the patturns lol let me ask this.. Did the plate have a step in it to put the trans in right place from the block or was it just a solid plate?

The only way to accurately center trans to crank (accounting for tolerances in the block, plate, and bell), is to use offset dowels and then install the plate + bell and adjust until it's perfectly centered.

It's just tolerance stacking. By the time you stack it all up, it can't be perfect.
