ok i have ben told most people switch to the mustang N/A intakes while swapping the 2.3t in, as every sensor wire is plug and play. is this true? i am lookin at getting rid of my upper and lower and switching to the N/A because as i was told its easier for pluging every thing in to.

What do you mean is it true? Since the Mustang harness plugged into the Mustang intakes from the factory and you still have the Mustang harness in your Mustang, it would seem to indicate that the Mustang harness would plug directly into the Mustang intake.

He has the Turbo Coupe intake manifold on his car right now and that intake has the ACT and Knock Sensors in different locations compared to the stock 2.3 NA Mustang intake. If he locates the correct Mustang 2.3 NA sensor harness (the one on the engine that hooks to ACT, Knock, TPS, and ECT) to replace his hacked up harness it is not going to hook up to the ACT and Knock sensors correctly because he has the Turbo Coupe upper and lower. That is why all the swap write ups say to stay with the Mustang NA upper/lower intake.

Agreed, though the ACT and KS don't have any effect on how his car currently runs because the ACT uses a default table when not hooked up and the KS is just ignored when not plugged in.

Yeah neither one of those sensors is critical.
