I started in a VW shop in 1976 and built my first engine there. Also later formally trained (AAI) any by the early 80,s was an ASE certified wrench thereafter into early 90,s. Then moved into the Paint & Body (more $) industry until 2004. I've built and dynoed many, and no stranger to attainable HP results. Tuning has changed dramatically since I last wrenched, so my frustrations are simply learning the library of acronyms and the installation and functions of electronic hardware that replaced the mechanical means of tuning. I understand the number of live help sources may be limited and maybe even overloaded. If I had a complaint, it would only be to have patience. The new technologies may not make sense until it does. (In my head)
