I have ordered and should receive my gauge today. I have a couple of questions. Does the 12v power need to be key on or straight to battery? The documentation does not specify. When I look at my circuit board I don't see a SPR1 and SPR2 or JS6 and JS8 to connect the jumper wires to. I need some help identifying them. The reference material points me to MS3 hardware manual section 3.4.12. That shows a board that does not look anything like mine. Will the jumper wires be included with my order? I did order the connector so I'm hoping the jumpers are with that.

Keyed, you just configure CAN in Tunerstudio, the ECU is ready for it already.

You don't do anything to the ECU. You just power/ground it, connect CANH and CANL to ECU, and turn on and configure the CAN settings.

not sure if you got your figured out or not but waaaay back when i installed mine, i wound up calling the perfect tuning guy 3 times. no idea why but he had to install an older version in mine to get it to communicate. it has been flawless since and i do like the gauge.
