I swapped a 2.3 turbo into my ranger with a Ron Francis wiring harness no matter what I’ve done or tried I cannot get it to build more then 10lbs of boost. I bypassed the wastegate, I’ve done a boost leak test. I don’t know if the premium switch I’ve heard they had had something to do with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated

What ECU? What boost controller? What turbo? What wastegate? What manifold/header?

LA3 ECU No boost controller T3/T4 turbo Stock wastegate I don’t remember the brand but stainless header

Where is vac hose for the wastegate connected to?
At what RPM does it first reach 10psi in 3rd gear (or higher) if you floor it at 2000 rpm?

Wastegate is connected to the cold side of the turbo
In 3rd gear cruising at 2000rpm and then floored I don’t have room to get it to boost anywhere to 10psi

You mean it takes so long to reach 10 psi that you run out of road? Of so, either your wastegate flapper is held open at all times (wastegate rod too long), or the turbo is way too big. Exactly what turbo is it (link to where you bought it)?

I disconnected the wastegate arm and wired it shut before reaching out. It didn’t make a difference.
Sorry trying to find all the information and receipts for links
But the turbo is a t3/t4 .63/.50 TO4E

Those specs say how large the housings are, but don't say what compressor wheel and turbine wheel size is (and those are what determine how "big" the turbo is and therefore how it should act on a 2.3T).
This is a Chinese turbo I assume (couple hundred dollars new)?
Are you positive the wastegate puck in the elbow properly aligns with/seals the hole in the turbo housing when closed?
Do you have any exhaust leaks at the head to header or header to turbo flanges? The "no name" SS eBay headers are prone to having warped flanges at the head.
