After swapping the pedal assembly yesterday, there were three connectors that didnt have a home. Two of them were for the Neutral Safety Switch attached to the clutch pedal. But could not find a place for the third connector, it is only about 6 inches long and the wire colors look like the Neutral switch so thought that is what it was. Dont see where this should go, so hopefully someone has some insight.
Have not figured out where to host pictures or i would post something, but can see it in the "Auto to 5spd Tranny Swap" write up when talking about making slots in the TC assembly

You host pics elsewhere and link to them here.
There are clutch and brake switches, both are safety related (press clutch to start, press brake and cruise control turns off, brake lights turn on, etc.).

All the information that I have looked up has two connectors going to the clutch pedal for safety switch, but the TC switch has wires coming out of it and a cover over top. Have connected the brake connector (was not fun but it is done haha)

Do the same/similar switches not exist on your old pedals?

No there werent any connections other than the brake pedal switch on the Auto Mustang. Completed the VAM wiring today and got it started - had to jump it across the starter relay, so that jumper that was in place before the swap and or there is another safety switch in the loom with the reverse lights. Did not worry about the transmission wiring as my assumption was it was only for the reverse lights.
Will get the meter out and do some checking

Neutral safety switch is in the trans (and there is one mentioned in the swap article that's the stock one for the auto trans I think too), and there is the "clutch pressed in to start" switch as well.

Ah that makes sense, I was calling the plugs off the pedal assembly the NSS. Will dig into it and hopefully get the rear end swapped
Thanks
